Continuing in the "been there, done that" vibe is the game's story. It's the tale of a gifted prophet whose warnings go ignored by the people of the world - until two teens on a vision quest start to see the death and disaster she whined about in a magical mirror, instead of their own futures. Then they're stuck on a quest to save the world, as you'd rightfully expect. Sometimes living in a magical fantasy world just sucks.
Yep, Legend of Heroes II is a prototypical example of an RPG: a beautiful but doomed fantasy world, plucky teen heroes, spells and special attacks in turn-based profusion. But if the prior game is anything to judge by, the results should be a little more than the sum of the game's shopworn parts. That's fine - another dose of predictable but charming RPG-ing should be good on the go.
