Dwayne Johnson previews another Hercules image
Bearded warrior
Dwayne Johnson has unveiled another new image from the set of Hercules: The Thracian Wars online, giving us a good look at the leading man in character.
The new image shows Johnson in rough and rushed mode, sporting a full beard and a rather fetching lionskin fleece. Killed and skinned by his own bare hands, no doubt…
The new film will pick up with a washed-up Hercules working as a travelling mercenary, haunted by his past and looking for a way to restore his lost honour.
Fortunately for him, such an opportunity soon presents himself in the form of an ageing king and his beautiful daughter, both of whom are being menaced by a brutal warlord.
Directed by Brett Ratner and co-starring Ian McShane, Rufus Sewell and Joseph Fiennes, Hercules: The Thracian Wars will open in the UK on 25 July 2014.
