Future Dragon Age: Inquisition DLC will only land on Xbox One, PS4 and PC

Future Dragon Age: Inquisition DLC will be found only on Xbox One, PS4 and PC, BioWare and EA revealed today. It's unfortunate news for those playing on Xbox 360 or PS3, but there's also a silver lining here. To help ease the transition to current-gen systems, BioWare has developed a save import feature, meaning that, while you'll need a new system and new copy of the game, you'll be able to pick up where you left off once you're up and running.

There's a FAQ with more information, as well as a step-by-step walkthrough direct from BioWare, but here are some things to keep in mind: you can only transfer from the older consoles to the newer, not reverse; you'll have to stay within your chosen brand, no exporting from an Xbox 360 to PS4 for example; you can only import data using the same PSN account/Gamertag that you used to export it; and lastly, any previously-purchased DLC will also transfer for no additional charge.

With this news, it seems the age of Xbox One and PS4 has well and truly begun.
