Doom beta opens for all April 15th & 3 paid DLC packs confirmed after release
Fancy heading into Hell early? Of course you do. Well good news. Doom's open beta kicks off on April 15 until April 17. There's no need for a code this time, and PS4, Xbox One and PC players will have access to Team Deathmatch and Warpath on the Heatwave and Infernal maps.
The beta officially starts at 12:00am EST/05:00am BST on April 15 and will end at 11:59pm EST on April 17. That means 04:59 in the morning on April 18th if you're in the UK and still up playing.
The full game will be out on May 13 and Id has also announced that on top of a number of free multiplayer game modes that'll be available later in the year, three premium multiplayer DLC packs will available to purchase after launch. The first will include the below:
• Three new maps
• One new weapon
• One new playable demon
• One new armour set
• One new piece of equipment
• New hack modules and taunts
• New customization colours and patterns
Each DLC pack will be priced at £11.99/$14.99, or included in the full season pass for £29.99 or $39.99.
