You've probably heard of bestselling radio series/exhibition/book A History Of The World In 100 Objects . Well now, BBC Books have produced a Doctor Who -themed spin on the same concept! A History Of The Universe In 100 Objects , by James Goss and Steve Tribe, is released on 27 September. It contains entries on everything from The Mark 1 Travel Machine (ie a Dalek) to, er, Guy Crayford's Eyepatch (arranged chronologically), and is illustrated by Who concept artist Peter McKinstry. As you'll see, it includes some very quirky entries ("Sink Plunger" made us chuckle). We'll have a proper review for you in a couple of weeks, but in the meantime, we've flicked through the book so you can see what it looks like!
