Telefantasy triumps at viewer voted Awards

The results of the Best Family Drama come as no surprise, as Doctor Who claimed the crown for the second year running, beating Merlin .
Being Human won Best Drama Series and we couldn’t be happier about it. Too bad Misfits lost out because we love that too!
Karen Gillan won best actress for Amy Pond in Doctor Who , beating the late, great Elisabeth Sladen for her role in The Sarah Jane Adventures . And while it’s great that Karen won, what a shame that the online petition to make Sladen the winner didn’t triumph. It would have been a great way of commemorating her career.
The award for Best Actor was taken by David Tennant for his role in Single Father . It seems like Matt Smith is still in David’s shadow, as The Doctor was beaten by his forefather.
