If that new picture of star Benedict Cumberbatch in costume as Doctor Strange got your mouth watering, I suggest you go grab a napkin, because this news is gonna have you positively drooling: The first trailer for the upcoming mystical Marvel movie will air on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on April 12.
Our first look at the Sorcerer Supreme in action will be part of a larger Marvel-themed week on the show, which also be promoting Captain America: Civil War and Agents of SHIELD. Team Cap (Chris Evans, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, and Paul Rudd) will be Kimmel's guests on Monday, April 11, while Team Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr., Don Cheadle, Emily VanCamp, Chadwick Boseman, and Paul Bettany) will be the guests for Wednesday, April 13's taping. The showing of the Doctor Strange trailer, with guest Benedict Cumberbatch, is sandwiched neatly in the middle.
Jimmy Kimmel Live! airs at 11:35pm Eastern, but don't worry if you can't stay up late - we'll be sure to have the trailer waiting for you in the morning.
Directed by Scott Derrickson and starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams, Tilda Swinton, and Mads Mikkelsen, Doctor Strange opens in UK cinemas on October 28, 2016 before opening in US theatres on November 4, 2016.
