The official game based on X-Men Origins: Wolverine is launched at the end of this week, and in association with the game makers, we've got an exclusive countdown that includes behind-the-scenes video and competitions .
The 3D Wolverine game is being developed by Raven, the guys behind Soldier Of Fortune and Quake 4, using Unreal graphics technology. What we've seen so far looks amazing: there are powerful "rage" attacks and a "lunge" movement that enables Wolverine to explore and fight in a pretty unique way.
Already live on the dedicated site are videos in which the designers talk about Wolverine’s unique fighting style and movement. Today's video includes a look at the guy who makes the sound effects - ever wondered how they make the noise of somebody getting cut in half for a videogame? These Raven guys are happy to show you.
Future clips will reveal the locations of the game, and there's also an exclusive game trailer to be seen at the end of the week, so bookmark the site and keep coming back.
Meanwhile, there's also a daily opportunity to win yourself a copy!
As the developers themselves say, this could be "the movie game that finally does not suck." Like the sound of that? Visit the exclusive calendar countdown to find out more and watch the clips.
