Dirty Sanchez movie lifts off
MTV’s Welsh daredevils take on the world in Dirty Sanchez: The Movie
Ok, so the Jackass crew knew how to stage a stunt – whether it’s kidnapping Brad Pitt from a restaurant queue, skateboarding down some really steep hills or jumping from a step ladder into a lot of horse shit.
For those among you who like your pain with a dash more sadomasochism, Dirty Sanchez should flick your switch. Pancho, Pritchard, Dainton and Dan Joyce are four skater boys who exploded onto MTV in 2003 – in three series, Dainton has been suspended in the air from hooks in his back and Pritchard has been run over…twice.
Add to this the simple things they do to each other when they’re bored, such as cactus fights and naked paintball and you’ve got a show that would make Johnny Knoxville’s eyes water.
Now, Vertigo Films, MTV and Pathe are teaming up to drag the Valley boys around the globe as they embark on several head-case stunts to delight the depraved. The challenge, known as the Seven Deadly Sins, will see the boys will face a test in seven different locations:
Sloth – UK, Anger – Moscow, Lust – Bangkok, Envy – Ko Phi Phi Thailand, Pride – Tokyo, Gluttony – Mexico and Greed – Dominican Republic.
Dirty Sanchez: The Movie is set for an autumn 2006 release. Keep ‘em glued to Total Film for updates.
