It takes a brave show to tackle Douglas Adams, but so confident were the team behind the BBC’s Dirk Gently that they not only adapted Adams’ other famous tale for small screen, they made it their own.
So, after a successful one-off episode that aired late in 2010, the world's one-and-only holistic detective is back for a three-part series early this year on BBC Four. And to get you ready for Dirk Gently's new investigations, Dirk himself, Stephen Mangan, and the show's producer, Chris Carey, are coming to Prestatyn for the SFX Weekender. The duo will be appearing live on stage for a live Q+A, and debuting clips from the new series.
And if you've a niggling question about Schrödinger’s cat or Electric Monks, these are the guys in the know, and you can see them live on Friday 3rd Feburary 2012 at the SFX Weekender in Prestatyn. Residential tickets are completely sold out but day passes are still available. Make sure you get yours before it's too late! Book now by calling 08700 11 00 34, or head to www.sfxweekender.com/tickets for more information.
