Devs 'working' on CoD4 DLC for PC
Logistics causing problems says Infinity Ward
Infinity Ward hasn't forgotten you, PC gamers. Xbox 360 and PS3 owners are preparing for the forthcoming Call of Duty 4 map pack, and now the developer's promised it's working on getting the same content to PC.
"Right now plans for the PC version are unannounced but we are working to bring PC users the same content in the future, however logistics are being worked out on how to make that happen," Infinity Ward's Robert Bowling has saidon his blog.
We're guessing this means the developer's currently deciding whether or not to risk the wrath of PC gamers and charge for the content, as it's doing on Xbox Live and PSN. Or will they leave a long enough gap so console owners don't go nuts about having to pay for something that PC gamers get for free?
Dubbed 'Call of Duty 4 Variety Map Pack,' the content features the four new multiplayer maps Creek, Killhouse, Chinatown and Broadcast. On console it'll cost £6.80 (like, $14), and be out the first week of April for Xbox 360 and around 21 days later for PS3.
