The Destiny Refer-A-Friend trailer makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside
Bungie has released a new trailer for Destiny's Refer-A-Friend scheme and it's pretty much the best Guardian buddy movie ever. It turns out that, maybe, just maybe, Just The Two Of Us has been playing in the background all along while you've been playing.
The scheme started yesterday and in order to be eligible to earn exclusive emotes, shaders, swords and that duo dance emote and high five, you need to find a friend who doesn't already play (or at least is willing to create a new account). To create a linked friend, you need to go to the Refer-A-Friend site, sign into your platform of choice and then generate a unique code. "New players qualify for referral for 7 days after they first play Destiny: The Taken King. This link can only be used by one player," says the site. You can then follow your linked quests in a dedicated tab.
Below is a list of the rewards on offer in the "Tale of Two Guardians" quest:
• Elemental Infinite Edge sword
• EV-34 Vector Infinite sparrow
• Duo Dance emote
• High Five emote
• Infinite Link shader
• Sign of the Infinite emblem
