Dead or Alive 5 gets new Photo Mode for even better 'photographing'. Also, first shots of new character, Rig
As if DoA Paradise's hands-free theatre mode wasn't uncomfortable enough...
Dead or Alive 5 is going to feature marked improvements to its replays and photo modes, just so you can focus better than ever on the... action. But before we get onto those improvements, we probably should mention the news that's actually going to affect the gameplay: New character Rig has been shown off in Japanese gaming mag Famitsu and here he is:

He looks big and chunky. There's not much more to say, except that he's going to be voiced by Hiroki Touchi (who voiced Uncharted's Nathan Drake in the Japanese dub) and that his character was first discovered by hackers poking about in a demo version. He's not alone in the roster announcements, though - Bass Armstrong (Tina's dad) has also be confirmed as returning for the new game.
But if male characters are not what you buy DoA games for, there are some more additions to look forward to. Namely a replay mode that allows you to move the camera around during matches, even in CPU vs CPU encounters so you don't have to worry about actually playing the game.
There will also be a new and improved Photo Mode that will allow you to manually set the tilt and angle of the camera, presumably instead of taking shots in real-time like you do in DoA Paradise's Venus scenes.Judging by the gameplay we've seen so far, it should come pretty close to the press shots.
