Day Of The Doctor Cinema Showings Announced
The Big Five-0 goes global...
BBC Worldwide has revealed the details of the big screen screenings of 50th anniversary Doctor Who adventure "The Day Of The Doctor". The epic 3D adventure will be simulcast in cinemas across the globe on Saturday 23 November, when it will also form the centrepiece of the BBC One evening schedule.
In the UK over 200 VUE , Cineworld , Odeon , BFI and Picturehouse cinemas will screen the multi-Doctor story. Tickets go on sale from this Friday, 25th October at 9:00am.
The USA and Canada will enjoy simultaneous screenings with the UK, along with Germany and Russia. Over 100 cinemas in Australia and New Zealand will screen the adventure on the 24th November. More participating countries are expected to be announced shortly.
