Sharpen your blades and don your armor. A new Dark Souls 3 gameplay video is here to show off more of what developer From Software calls Weapon Arts - a special move or stance unique to a chosen weapon, and a new twist on the Souls combat formula debuting in DS3.
You'll see a Knight pull off some crazy Power Rangers-style acrobatics with a scimitar, as well as a powerful broadsword sweep that launches enemies into the air (my personal favorite). The Cleric class also gets a little screen time with their mace, though honestly I'm finding it difficult to tell exactly what that Weapon Art actually does, partly because the poor guy just keeps getting slashed to pieces before he can pull it off.
I guess players aren't the only ones who struggle to deal with the notoriously difficult undead monstrosities of this series. Dark Souls 3 will be available on Xbox One, PS4, and PC on April 12.
