Daniel Radcliffe brings a different kind of magic to Now You See Me 2
Lionsgate scored an unexpected hit in 2013 with Now You See Me, a magician-themed heist flick that generated upwards of $300 million worldwide. Eager to see future returns of that magnitude, the studio ushered a sequel into development, which has today dropped its first teaser trailer.
Now You See Me 2 picks up a year after the events of the first movie. As the four horsemen - with Izzy Caplan now taking over for Isla Fisher - bask in glory of their success, they seek to better their previous illusionary efforts with help from a new tech guru. Daniel Radcliffe joins the crew as the son of Caine's character, who thinks himself a dab hand at tricks.
Without giving away the big reveal, we're treated to a generous hint of the types of trickery involved. Recalling most of its original cast that includes Mark Ruffalo, Jesse Eisenberg, Dave Franco, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine and Woody Harrelson, Now You See Me 2 opens in the US on June 10, 2016.
