Dane Cook's Dead Already
He wants to be an action star…
To be honest, we have a hard time buying Dane Cook as a leading man in movies, let alone our generation’s answer to Stallone and co.
But the boy Cook – last seen trying not to get hurt by Jessica Alba in Good Luck Chuck – has his sights on action man status with a new movie called Dead Already. A buddy cop movie he describes as in the vein of Lethal Weapon (there’s a lot of that going about), it’s also something different, according to what he told MTV: “It’s got a really interesting take-off from the typical movie which has been done in so many ways. This definitely had an element that was like, ‘Wow, I’ve never seen that before. You’ve got some crazy stunts and action sequences, but you got some comedy in there too. We’ll see if we can get it off the ground, but I certainly would like to play in that area.”
