Dan Aykroyd reveals Ghostbusters 3 plot details
Yes, it's still happening…
It seems as though Dan Aykroyd has spent the better part of the last decade giving updates on Ghostbusters 3 , and sure enough, a recent appearance on Larry King Now has given him the opportunity to provide yet another report.
However, with a script now thought to be well on its way to completion, there is at least something concrete to talk about, in the form of a new batch of plot details.
"It’s based on new research that’s being done in particle physics by the young men and women at Columbia University," explains Aykroyd, when the inevitable Ghostbusters question reared its head.
"I can say that the world or the dimension that we live in, our four planes of existence - length, height, width and time - become threatened by some of the research that’s being done. Ghostbusters, new Ghostbusters, have to come and solve the problem.”
Aykroyd recently announced that he expects production to begin in autumn of this year, with cameras to start rolling in 2014. For his sake, if nobody else's, we really, really hope he's right...
