Cyber Monday Pokemon card deals FAQ
When do Cyber Monday Pokemon card deals start?
This year's Cyber Monday Pokemon card deals will kick off on December 2. However, these discounts aren't limited to a single day. Much like Black Friday, they go on for much longer than 24 hours and will roll through the week.
Cyber Monday Pokemon card retailers to watch this year
USA
- Amazon: A reliable choice for variety and deals
- Walmart: Provides a surprising range of card deals, especially in-store
- GameStop: Can offer good boxset discounts
- Target: Has been known to cut prices on many TCG sets
- Best Buy: Plenty of boxsets available, but mainly new ones
UK
- Amazon: Traditionally good for card discounts
- Magic Madhouse: You can find all sorts here, usually for much less
- Zatu: Regular savings on the TCG
- Wayland Games: Save on tins, bundles, and more
- Game: Lacks variety but is one to watch for savings
What to expect
The team and I have been covering Cyber Monday Pokemon card deals for quite some time, so we've got a pretty solid idea of how the sale operates. Here's what we think is going to happen this year.
🎁 Elite Trainer and booster boxes will lead the charge
Boxsets like Elite Trainer packs or Booster roundups usually get the lion's share of savings during any sale; in fact, you don't tend to see individual blisters being reduced in most Cyber Monday Pokemon card deals (GameStop has been one of the few exceptions, as it offered a very generous discount on a second product if you bought any Pokemon cards during Black Friday).
🏫 Battle Academy always goes on offer
The Pokemon Battle Academy starter set is always being reduced, and I don't expect that to change during Cyber Monday. Keep an eye on it this December if you're a newcomer to the game.
❌ There's going to be a lot of third-party roundups
Beware, you'll be fed a lot of crap on the likes of Amazon if you just search 'Pokemon cards.' The digital shelves suddenly become buried in third-party accessories like card holders or random card roundups that feel too good to be true, so proceed with caution.
Last year's best Cyber Monday Pokemon card deals
Silver Tempest Elite Trainer Box | $49.99 $33.90 at Amazon
Save $16 - This was just a dollar off the lowest price we'd seen this set fall to, and as an Elite Trainer box, you were getting great value for money here - with 8 boosters, Alolan Vulpix card sleeves, and more.
Pokemon Trainer Toolkit 2023 | $34.99 $24.49 at Best Buy
Save $10.50 - If you were a beginner in the world of Pokemon TCG, the Trainer Toolkit was the perfect way to get started... and Cyber Monday was a great time to snap it up, as demonstrated by this super effective offer.
Pokemon Go Pikachu tin | $19.99 $11.99 at Best Buy
Save $8 - This was the lowest price we'd seen this tin fall to for some time. It had sold like hotcakes in the past, so we didn't recommend holding fire if you were tempted.
151 Ultra Premium Collection | $119.99 $99.95 at Amazon
Save $24 - This was just a matter of cents off the lowest price we'd seen this collection fall to, and as a Premium collection that had recently released, you were getting a lot of value for your money.
Paradox Rift Display Booster Box | $160.99 $104.99 at Walmart
Save $55 - Here was a massive saving for you to kick off last year's Cyber Monday Pokemon deals. We'd seen it just a little cheaper at $5 less, but this was still a great saving.
There are going to be lots of offers to choose from, so find out what's worth prioritising in our guide to Cyber Monday board game deals or the Cyber Monday iPad deals (perfect for the upcoming digital version of the Pokemon Trading Card Game).
