Cyber Monday gaming monitor deals 2024: display discounts still available

Cyber Monday gaming monitor deals 2023

Cyber Monday gaming monitor deals are technically done for the year, but there's still plenty of panel discounts hanging on. From affordable 1080p screens to premium OLED contenders and everything in between, there's still a bit of time to pair your PC or console with the perfect panel.

However, if you're not aware of some of the discount tactics for this time of year, finding the best gaming monitors when looking on Cyber Monday can be harder than you might think. Just because a monitor happens to be somewhat discounted doesn't mean it's actually the cheapest it has been; it's always important to check price trends before buying.

I've tested many of the latest screens likely to show up during Cyber Monday, and my goal (as well as the team's goal) is to help you find the right gaming monitor for less. With that in mind, here are the best Cyber Monday gaming monitor deals available now.

FAQ

When will Cyber Monday gaming monitor deals end?

Cyber Monday 2024 kicks off on December 2, straight after the Black Friday weekend. Naturally, the two big sales work in conjunction with one another, and some deals will remain the following week. That said, the best stuff is going to be available today while stocks last and then disappear around 11:59pm Monday, December 2.

Where will the best Cyber Monday gaming monitors deals be?

Amazon and Dell pretty much lead the charge when it comes to some of the best Cyber Monday gaming monitor deals. That said, Best Buy and Walmart are getting better at keeping up with the main players, with discounts that trump previous year discounts and anything else on offer before and after.

In any case, here's a rundown of retailers to check out during Cyber Monday 2024:

US:
Amazon:
Regular discounts on a large variety of monitors in all styles
Dell: Huge savings on Dell productivity and Alienware gaming monitors
Best Buy: Deals on MSI Optix, Samsung, Acer, and Lenovo panels
Walmart: Frequent sales on LG, Asus, Samsung, and other makes
Newegg: Selection can be a little more limited, but deals are generally good

UK:
Amazon:
Consistently low prices on some of the best gaming monitors
Currys: Fair prices but few deals available at the moment
eBuyer: Minor savings on some of the bigger gaming monitor brands
Overclockers: Regularly stocks high-end gaming ultrawide gaming monitors
Dell: Deep discounts on Alienware and Dell monitors
Very: Good deals available on MSI, Alienware, and HP gaming panels

Cyber Monday gaming monitor deals: What to expect

Corsair Xeneon 27QHD240 with Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay on screen

(Image credit: Future / Phil Hayton)

Cyber Monday gaming monitor deals can differ from their Black Friday siblings, but there are a few trends in common. For example, you'll find that the likes of Dell simply use the secondary event as an excuse to extend offers, as its Alienware AW3423DW OLED monitor offer stuck around for a while after.

Notably, some of the priciest panels out there dropped to great prices during latest year's Cyber Monday event, including the Acer Nitro XV322QK. The high spec screen dropped from $1099.99 to $599.99 at Best Buy - a dramatic drop that was worth jumping on. In addition, the cheaper Acer Nitro XF243YP ended up dropping to a just $129.99, making it one of the best budget buys featured last year.

That said, various new screens arrived after last year's event, and succeeding models can influence future reductions. For example, the Samsung Odyssey OLED G9 is now a thing, and it actually dropped in price during Amazon's Prime Day 'Big Deal Days' sale by £400 in the UK. The Neo G9 also dropped by over $1,000 in the US, which is a helpful bar when it comes to Cyber Monday expectation.

Naturally, meaning there's a good chance the new model and the original Odyssey G9 will drop record low prices. Same applies to LG's line up of displays, as with the LG UltraGear 45GR95QE-B offering luscious top end specs, older models may end up a little cheaper.

Other display discounts to watch out for include the likes of the Corsair XENEON 32UHD144. While the 2023 Corsair Xeneon 27QHD240 targets different specs, its arrival on the scene could trigger slightly older models to drop in price. The QHD 240Hz model itself may end up cheaper too, but it's always wise to work from top to bottom when it comes to stock age.

We're even already seeing Alienware's 500Hz gaming monitor pop up for lower than ever ahead of Cyber Monday and Black Friday, which is surprising given it's both cutting edge and new to 2023. A great example of the fact that newness doesn't mean immunity when it comes to seasonal discounts, and it's worth watching every model regardless of age.
