Cyber Monday gaming laptop deals officially closed out at midnight, but there are still a few discounts lining the shelves this week. I am seeing a lot of models jumping back up the price scale, but there's still some gold at rock-bottom prices to be found. Between the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 and cheaper HP Victus models, retailers like Best Buy and Walmart are keeping some of their discounts rolling into Cyber Week.

This is, after all, the best time of year to upgrade your older gaming rig, or to think about getting into playing your games on the go for the first time. No matter the budget, there's an answer for everyone in here, from entry-level to top-tier. Just keep in mind that, thanks to their smaller sizes, gaming laptops tend to skew more expensive than their desktop cousins.

There are a number of the Black Friday gaming laptop deals that have carried over their discounts, and we have picked out some of the biggest and best listed below. Between this and last year's crop of rigs, Cyber Monday gaming laptop deals could be better than ever.

What to expect from Cyber Monday gaming laptop deals in 2024

There are going to be plenty of cheap Cyber Monday gaming laptop deals on offer this year; the likes of the Asus TUF A15, Acer Nitro 16, and HP Victus models always get their prices slashed during November. Because they tend to be good all-rounders in terms of specs (if somewhat middle-of-the-road), we'd recommend giving them a look should you need a budget option. They might not offer the brightest screens or most portable form factors, but many are fitted with an RTX 4050 or RTX 4060 card which can net you solid performance for under $800 / £800 when on sale.

It's always worth keeping an eye out for more expensive brands as well. Razer laptops like the Blade 16 or Alienware laptops such as the Alienware M16 R2 will be some of the most tempting options from this year's releases if and when they move into more affordable territory. Razer's range of Blade laptops in particular are fantastic, but they're often far from an everyday player's price range outside of major sales events.

If you're after something at the top of the range, we're expecting 2024's iterations of the Alienware M18, Asus ROG Strix Scar 18, and potentially even the Razer Blade 18 offering up some new record low prices. These 18-inch beasts nearly spent a year on the shelves and are already primed for discounts. The cheapest of these 2024 gaming laptops is going to be the M18, which already carries a lower MSRP. If, however, you're after a desktop-based device, we'd recommend checking out Cyber Monday gaming PC deals for better value than an 18-inch laptop.

Shooting straight down the middle, though, we'd recommend keeping a very close eye on the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14. This is a fantastic machine - our favorite 14-incher overall - and is primed to take some serious discounts in 2024. Last year we saw an RTX 4060 configuration drop to just $1,099 over Black Friday, only nudging slightly back up the price scale to $1,199 in Cyber Monday gaming laptop deals. Considering this is such a popular gaming laptop that does well during these annual sales every year we're holding out for some similar discounts in the US. Plus, you're getting an OLED display in new-generation models as well.

When will Cyber Monday gaming laptop deals begin?

Cyber Monday gaming laptop deals kick off on December 2, 2024, however, we do often see retailers continuing their Black Friday offerings throughout the weekend and rolling them into one come the next week.

Where will the best Cyber Monday gaming laptop deals be?

We'll be scouring the web for the best Cyber Monday gaming laptop deals as soon as they land, but if you're going it alone this year, these are the retailers we'll be watching the most.

US

Amazon: Traditionally the best for variety and sudden deals
Dell: Offers a surprisingly good variety of reductions
Walmart: Good for mainstream gaming laptop deals and cheaper brands
Newegg: Provides the best variety of gaming laptop deals
Best Buy: Great for savings on the biggest brands

UK

Amazon: Excellent for range and reliably good price cuts
Box: Loads of variety on the best makes
Currys: Home to some great reductions and bundles
Dell: A big variety of discounts are available throughout Cyber Monday
Laptops Direct: Heavy savings and some record low prices expected

Is it better to buy a gaming laptop on Black Friday or Cyber Monday?

If you are waiting for the big sale, we'd recommend jumping in on Black Friday. Cyber Monday gaming laptop deals can still offer a nice saving but they often don't perform at the same level as Black Friday itself. This is a sale for those who missed out, or didn't quite find what they were looking for the first time around - we generally don't see waves of new discounts hitting the shelves.

Some models may reduce a little in price over the weekend, if retailers had higher hopes or if a price-match war breaks out but this is quite rare. We'd recommend against holding out for Monday, though - you're far more likely to find a particularly strong offer during the main event.

Of course, we're also getting you prepped for all this year's Cyber Monday gaming monitor deals and Cyber Monday curved monitor deals if you're sorting a full setup. Also keep a close eye on Cyber Monday SSD deals for more offers as well.
