CW Orders Monster High School Drama From Chuck, Twilight And American Psycho Trio
Competitive students turn into monsters
The CW has ordered a new High School drama called Copeland Prep. So far, so what?
Well, for one thing it’s a High School drama with a supernatural twist – the students are so competitive, they literally turn into monsters.
But more excitingly, look at the talent bringing it to screen:
Catherine Hardwicke, director of the first Twilight movie, is executive consultant (don’t worry, it gets better)
Josh Schwartz, co creator of Chuck , is executive producer.
Bret Easton Ellis, author of American Psycho, is writing the project.
Suddenly sounds a lot more intriguing, doesn’t it?

Thinking of Schwartz, wonder what’s happening with the US version of Misfits he was supposed to be producing? Last we heard, Howard Overman, creator of the British versions hinted we’d be hearing something soon on that front, and that was back during a webchat in July .
