Crysis + Wii Remote = Wiisis

Nope, we've not tried it out yet, but a mod team is saying it's managed to get Nintendo's Wii Remote and Nunchuk working with Crysis to bring motion control to the FPS.

The name of the mod? Wiisis. Ho-ho.

According to the team, the mod "supports many different gesture controls," including: jumping by flicking your Wii Nunchuk up, crouching by tilting your Wii Nunchuk down or prone by tilting it even further, punch or zoom in with your weapon by motioning your Wii Remote forward, pick up objects by lifting your Wii Remote up and throw a grenade by lobbing your Wii Remote over your head.

That last one sounds a bit dangerous.

"In order to play Wiisis with your Nintendo Wii Remote and Nunchuk," the team goes on to explain, "you will need to have a Bluetooth receiver installed on your computer with an HID profile created for the Remote."

We're not sure if this is pointless barmy-ness or a genius idea. Full details on Wiisishereand goherefor the download.
