Of course Deadpool is trying to hijack the Oscars
Deadpool might be out in cinemas and already enjoying a healthy box office return, but that doesn't mean the anti-hero's PR team have gone to sleep. In what's possibly the least surprising news of the year, given what we've already seen him do, Deadpool is trying to hijack the Oscars. Because, obviously.
Ryan Reynolds himself tweeted Deadpool's Oscar poster, which includes praise such as "Winner winner chicken dinner", "Best Picture [of] Deadpool on a bearskin rug", and "Best 'Leaked' Footage". Check it out below...

Question is, will it work? Well, no... because Deadpool isn't even nominated.
Directed by Tim Miller and starring Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, Ed Skrein, T.J. Miller and Gina Carano, Deadpool is playing in UK and US cinemas now.
