Countdown to the London Film Festival!
Screen talks, events, master classes and a sack-load of movies. It’s so close, we can smell it!
In case we hadn’t mentioned it, the London Film Festival is a whopping 50-years-old this year and yet, after all that time, it still gets us leaping about like the Brazilian beach volleyball team (minus the chaffing shorts, of course).
181 feature films, 131 short films, a host of star names and some amazing birthday celebrations are being lined up from 18th October to 2nd November.
In keeping with their plans to take the festival back to the public, the LFF organisers are setting up events all over the capital, including a free digital film extravaganza in Trafalgar Square on Friday 27 October.
This years Surprise Screens Film Event will also hit the road, showing at 50 venues scattered across London on the 29 October.
