You know the glut of cooking shows currently pervading The Tube of Boob? Yeah, that was Cooking Mama. In fact, without doing any research on the subject, we're going to go ahead and credit the tap-tastic collection of food-based minigames with theadvent of Top Chef, the entire Food Network and the pinnacle of culinary culture thus far: the Texas Double Whopper.
Okay, maybe that's a bit of stretch, but it makes for a damn good introforthe sequel to one of the DS' hottest original games that most of you, yes, ate the hell up. Taking the winningly diverse formula fromthe likes ofWarioWare and combining it with cutesy household cutlery proved to be a runaway success in the first Cooking Mama. So it's a safe bet that the upcoming Cooking Mama 2:Cooking with Friends has got plenty of folks salivating in Pavlovian anticipation withlots more ofwhat they loved previously.
