Dead Man’s Shoes star signs on for Greengrass thriller sequel
The murky revenge flick Dead Man’s Shoes has brought star/co-scribbler Paddy Considine a sack of good fortune. Having already tucked away turns in Brit action-comedy Hot Fuzz and nuke drama The Half Life of Timofey Berezin, Paddy has now climbed on board The Bourne Ultimatum.
Rogue CIA agent Jason Bourne (Matt Damon) is trying to uncover the secrets of his past life but finds an inconvenient side-effect is running into people that want him six feet under. Considine will play the part of a journalist who is attempting to track an ex-CIA director.
Bourne Supremacy helmer Paul Greengrass returns for megaphone duties, working from a script scribbled by regular Bourne scribe Tom Gilroy – with input from Brit screenwriting stalwart, Tom Stoppard.
The Bourne Ultimatum is shooting now and is expected in theatres on 10 August 2007.
