Colin Farrell wishes Ben Affleck luck with Batman

In issue 216 of Total Film magazine , Colin Farrell reveals that he's sure his Daredevil co-star Ben Affleck will do "a great job" as Batman in Man Of Steel 2 .

Inside the issue - which is available for just £1.99 on your iPad - Farrell says that he's always enjoyed his co-star's work.

“Good luck to him," he says. "I think he'll do a great job. As an actor, I don't know that I know anyone that's improved as much as he has. That sounds like a shit thing to say.

"I always enjoyed watching him, as a director he's extraordinary too, but his work in The Town and Argo , he was so fantastic in both those films.

"In Argo , it was such a controlled performance, I think he'll kill as Batman, I hope he does and shuts the naysayers up."

Farrell's next film, A New York Winter's Tale, o pens in the UK on 21 February 2014.

For more from Farrell, pick up the brand new issue of Total Film , which is out now , and includes an exclusive look at The Amazing Spider-Man 2 , Godzilla and The Lego Movie and many more exciting new movies , plus we chat with Zoe Saldana.
