Cobie Smulders has confirmed her involvement in The Avengers: Age Of Ultron , with the star revealing that Maria Hill will return for a second outing.
However, Smulders is still seemingly in the dark as to just how involved her role will be, having yet to read a finished version of the script.
“I think I’m in Avengers 2 , but it is very top secret,” says Smulders. “I hope I’m in Avengers 2 . I didn’t get my invitation yet. Well, actually, they know I’m in it but they don’t know to what degree I’m in it.
“I am really excited to read the script because they are introducing Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch into the Avengers universe,” continues Smulders, “and the bad guy is going to be very interesting.”
Smulders was suitably steely as Hill whenever she was on screen in the first film, so we’ll be hoping she’s given even more chance to shine second time out.
The Avengers: Age Of Ultron will open in the UK on 1 May 2015.
