Chuck’s two-episode third season premiere on Sunday in the US scored the show’s biggest ratings since its post-Superbowl 3D special, with an audience that was up 21% on season two's average figures.
The third season began on Sunday night with two episodes before the show moved to its regular slot on Monday night for episode three.
"Chuck Versus The Pink Slip" was seen by 7.7 million viewers, while 7.2 stayed on to watch "Chuck Versus The Three Words". Although nor spectacular, those are still come of the best numbers NBC has achieved with a drama series in recent history. And if you take the 3D episode out of the equation, this is the best performance for Chuck since 2007.
The big question is, did the audience stay for Monday’s episode? More news on that soon.
