Chris Pratt wanted for leading role in Jurassic World
Irffan Khan also linked to a role
More casting rumours from Isla Nublar this morning, with Chris Pratt supposedly on Universal’s hitlist for Jurassic World .
With Guardians Of The Galaxy set to propel Pratt into bona fide leading man status, it seems that Universal are ready to cash in on that inevitable spike in profile by giving him a leading role in the forthcoming dino-sequel.
According to The Wrap , Pratt has entered very early talks with the studio, with Irrfan Khan also linked to the project in a supporting capacity.
We had previously heard that Josh Brolin had been tapped by the studio to play the lead, but talks proved inconclusive, with no deal officially signed.
Directed by Colin Trevorrow, the new story will see the action return to the aforementioned island, with the film set to hit US screens on 12 June 2015.
