Genre films don’t come much more perfectly formed – or titled – than this black comedy that tips giddily into horror.
Based on a witty, watertight script by David Chirchirillo and Trent Haaga, and making great use of its cast, E.L. Katz’s debut follows down-on-his-luck family man Craig (Pat Healy) and his old school frenemy Vince (Ethan Embry) who find themselves targeted by a devil-may-care rich couple (David Koechner and Sara Paxton) during a night of drunken dares.
Events quickly escalate into extreme territories and the result is a tour-de-force of twisted brilliance.
