Charlize Theron signs on for Snow White And The Huntsman
May go for Alien prequel
Charlize Theron has dropped out of Clint Eastwood’s next project, FBI biopic J. Edgar, and signed on to star in Snow White And The Huntsman .
Theron has been linked to the fairytale since last October, when it was reported she was considering joining the project as the evil queen.
Now that she’s officially scribbled her name on that dotted line, production should get a big boost in activity. Next up: who’ll play Snow White?
Meanwhile, Theron has also been circling Ridley Scott’s Alien prequel. While actresses like Noomi Rapace and Gemma Arterton have both met with the director, Vulture report that Theron is expecting a new version of the script, and will base her decision on that.
According to the website, Theron wouldn’t play the lead, though. Scott is apparently still keen on Rapace for that role, meaning 20th Century Fox want ‘big name’ Theron for supporting role Vickers.
