Bereaved ballerina Myriam (Martines) falls passionately in love with art forger Pierre (Arditi) while working in Venice. The couple promptly embark on a world trip, only for tragedy to strike when both Pierre and Myriam's eight-year-old son are drowned. She, however, is determined to continue filming their holiday, and goes on to have a life-changing encounter with Canadian futurologist Marc (Hollogne).
