Catherine confirmed for North America after all

Despite ahasty removalfrom GameStop's site, Catherine is indeed coming to North America. While the American version of thegame's official siteis short on details, a press release this morning says game will arrive this summer for both the PS3 and the 360. Amazon lists the release date as July 26, but Atlus has yet to confirm anything except the fact that the game is in fact coming. It is not known whether the upcomingdifficulty patchwill come pre-loaded onto the American version, or whether the game will have a Japanese dialog option.

Catherine is only confirmed for North America. Since Atlus does not have a European publishing arm, a third party will need to acquire the rights to the game in order to please the PAL regions.
