Capcom releasing XBLA favorites as Digital Collection for Xbox 360

Eight of Capcom's most popular Xbox Live Arcade titles are getting scooped up and served fresh in a new retail compilation called the Capcom Digital Collection. The disc will star Capcom classics both new and old, and be available next spring exclusively for Xbox 360.

Announced this week, the Capcom Digital Collection will feature Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD, Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, Bionic Commando: Rearmed 2, Final Fight: Double Impact, 1942 Joint Strike, Flock!, Rocketmen: Axis of Evil (with It Came from Uranus expansion pack), and Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3.

At current XBLA prices, buying all of these titles individually would cost a total of 8,000 Microsoft Points, or US $100 ( £68 in the UK). Considering the collection goes for $39.99, that's not a bad deal—especially if you don't already have some of these games kicking around your Xbox 360 hard drive.

Feeling shafted by the PS3 Digital Collection snub? Remember, Capcom is also showing Sony fans some love this week in the form of its Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition Super Sale. Go get some.
