Can you handle Black Dynamite?

Hoping to be one of the highlights of this year’s Sundance Film Festival, Blacksploitation satire/spoof Black Dynamite might just be the year’s most fun trailer.

If you’re not in a food coma from Christmas day’s excesses, you can grab a look below, and those lucky enough to be attending Sundance will get to see it first. Rest assured totalfilm.com will be tracking this one.

The film stars Michael Jai White as the titular enforcer, who strikes on a mission of vengeance against – you guessed it – “The Man”. When his brother his killed, the local orphanage flooded with drugs and a secret weapon concealed inside mal liquor, Black Dynamite is seriously pissed.

From the looks of this trailer, it could be everything Grindhouse promised, but never quite delivered- retro, kick-ass and crazed.

Want to know more? Click on the trailer below. Be warned: it’s a red band affair, so it contains rude words, violence, nudie bumps and other kiddie-unfriendly moments.
