We’ve been playing Call of Duty 4’s multiplayer mode long enough to know every map inside out. But even this encyclopaedic knowledge doesn’t stop us from getting hit between the eyes when we’re least expecting it. And it’s not because we’re running around like headless chickens, but rather that some gamers have found ways to get to hidden locations in certain maps.
Having discovered the location of five of these sniper spots, by trawling YouTube, we thought it was only fair to share our new found knowledge with you. Because, as they say, all’s fair in love and war.
Map: Vacant
Sniper Spot: On the roof
You’ll need a team-mate for this one so it’ll probably make things easier if you have a headset so you can bark orders at them. Head into the room with the fridge, which is handily positions under a hole in the roof,and have your new friend crouch on top of it. Now jump onto the fridge and bounce off your team-mates head until you reach the roof. From here you can take up a sniping position or start lobbing grenades onto the unsuspecting enemy below.
