Why you can trust 12DOVE
Buzz’s enthusiastic quizmaster is back with a whole sack full of new questions and some mildly cringe-worthy one-liners. As with SingStar, we’d assumed that downloadable content for the first PS3 game would make further releases unnecessary, but there are bound to be those who just want to pick up an easy new instalment. And they’ll be pleased with what they get for their money.
Because feeble quips aside, Brain of the UK is another massively likeable and varied quiz experience that’s especially fun with two or more players. Some of the questions could do with a little more polish – there are a few dodgy inclusions – but its fine use of video and audio, quirky characters and hilarious pie fight round make it a clear winner.
