Bryan Singer hints at major X-Men: Days Of Future Past plot point
Has Magneto gone too far?
Bryan Singer has tweeted a new image from the set of X-Men: Days Of Future Past which points towards a major plot point in the upcoming sequel.
The new image reveals a transcript of a speech to be made by President Nixon, spotted in an earlier image tweeted from the set.
“Today we face the greatest threat in our history , " reads the speech. "What the world witnessed in Paris was not an isolated incident.”

Now while we don’t know for sure what that is referring to, we’d suggest the possibility of a terrorist attack on the part of Magneto and his Brotherhood Of Evil Mutants.
Such an attack could be the event that triggers the commission of the Sentinel programme to monitor and control the mutant population, a move that will eventually lead to their imprisonment in concentration camps.
Is this the event that Xavier and co. must avert to change the future? Or do you think the Paris incident referred to will prove to be something less extreme? We’ll find out for certain when the film opens in the UK on 18 July 2014.
