Brilliant new IMAX poster for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire
“We burn to believe”
Lionsgate has unveiled an eye-catching new poster for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire , featuring an incredibly detailed tableau of the world of Panem.
Influenced by the fantastic-realist style of artist Kris Kuksi, the poster is an intricately created snapshot of the world of the second film, as Katniss finds herself both at odds and in cahoots with the Capitol.
President Snow also looms large over proceedings, his blindfolded eyes casting him as a less than partial bringer of “justice” flanked by his hordes of Storm Trooper-esque militia.
The new film will see Snow and Katniss on a collision course like never before, with the President increasingly perturbed by the young woman’s influence over the twelve districts.
Directed by Francis Lawrence and co-starring Jennifer Lawrence, Donald Sutherland and Josh Hutcherson, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire will open in the UK on 21 November 2013.
