Then there's the totally out-there Survival mode, where you roam around a piece of space trying to avoid a hailstorm of the very balls you utilize in the main game. First, you choose the ship's design - your core can only take three hits, so it's all about finding a design that puts your unbreakable defensive blocks in a sweet position. We fooled around with this for quite some time, but after the first few runs, the appeal starts to slide. We'll stick to the regular game.
