Storyline Encounter - Black Mage Asterisk

Another storyline encounter, this takes place in the Centro Ruins Keep in Caldis. Edea will join your party at this juncture and after you defeat Ominas Crowe the Black Mage, you will receive the Black Mage asterisk.

The Centro Keep Ruins dungeon is filled with beasts ready to inflict poison and blind on your party. Ominas Crowe himself will shake things up a bit by interspersing his beloved fire attacks with silence and poison. To that end, it would be advisable to pick up the Blindna and Poisona white magic scrolls in Caldisla along with a handful of echo herbs and have one of your party take up the White Mage mantle to dispel negative status effects and heal everyone’s first degree burns. Other than that, just keep bashing the bejesus out of him and that asterisk should be yours in no time.
