Bradley Cooper is a rockstar chef in first trailer for Burnt
The first trailer has appeared online for Burnt, starring Bradley Cooper as a “rockstar” chef attempting to re-climb the ladder after going off the rails in spectacular fashion. Back on the straight and narrow, he’s on the up again, but that elusive third-Michelin star remains tantalisingly out of reach…
Cooper is clearly taking his cues from the “combustible” personalities of Gordon Ramsay, Marco-Pierre White et al, and as a result, it looks as though he might be a tricky character to root for. Still, Cooper looks to be all-energy here, barking out kitchen orders like a champ.

It doesn’t look quite as feelgood as recent food-porn-fest Chef, but with Emma Thompson, Omar Sy and Sienna Miller in the supporting cast, it shouldn’t want for dramatic clout. Directed by John Wells and co-starring Matthew Rhys, Uma Thurman and Alicia Vikander, Burnt will open in the UK on October 16 2015 and the US a week later.
