Bond meets Svrine in new Skyfall clip: watch now
And he gets to use his favourite line…
Skyfall has released a new clip online, in which Bond is introduced to the latest in a long line of femme fatales in the form of Bérénice Marlohe’s Sévérine.
The new clip shows Bond and Sévérine exchanging a few words over a gambling table, as the latter pronounces how impressed she was at the former’s dramatic entrance.
All of which is a neat little set-up to allow Daniel Craig to drop the “Bond… James Bond” line. No matter how many times we hear it, it still packs a punch of purest cinematic magic.
Check it out, below:
Skyfall will follow Bond’s return from the wilderness when M (Judi Dench) loses a precious data-stick containing the identities and locations of every British agent currently operating in the field. When it falls into the hands of the villainous Silva (Javier Bardem), bodies start stacking up, and Bond is forced back into duty.
Directed by Sam Mendes and co-starring Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris and Ben Whishaw, Skyfall opens in the UK on 26 October 2012.
