Here are the answers from blogger Lee Harris
1/ What first got you into SF?
Absolutely no idea. It would have been over 30 years ago, and as I barely remember to buy the right kind of bread when I go to the supermarket (and boy! does my wife continually give me grief over that!) so any answer I give here will probably be incorrect. Earliest genre memories are "Doctor Who" and "H.R. Pufnstuf" on TV, and "Puff The Magic Dragon" and "Monster Mash" on the radio.
2/ Who was your first geek crush?
Okay, this is "geek crush" rather than "SF crush", so I'm going to choose the presenter of a tea-time gameshow. It was in the '80s and I can't remember her name (though it wasn't Bob Holness). The gaming board consisted of a grid, and the contestant had to answer questions whilst travelling around the board. It might not have been a grid, actually - it might have been a circle. One of the two, anyway. If I have to choose "SF crush", though, it would be Patsy Kensit in "Luna".
3/ If you were a spaceship from a TV show or movie, which would you be (and why)?
Serenity. I'm passed my prime, a bit battered up, but you can't help loving me!
4/ If SFX were to run a convention, which guest would you most like to meet there?
Angelina Jolie, following a break-up with Brad so traumatic that she can't see clearly for the tears. "There, there, Angelina, tell me all about it over a drink..."
5/ What's the most exciting thing to happen to you (SF wise) in 2009 so far?
Starting work with new genre imprint, Angry Robot right at the start of January. Best. Job. Eva!
6/ What feature would you most like us to add to this website?
Less a feature, more a tweak - the ad system makes less-than-top-range PCs crawl to a halt. Better scripting on ad rotation.

7/ What SF character has most inspired you in your life?
I don't think I've ever been particularly inspired by a fictional character. Let's say Mickey Mouse in his Fantasia days. Or perhaps Lara croft in the first movie - some of those costume changes were quite inspiring...
8/ What's always your number one book or DVD recommendation to a friend?
Difficult to pick an "always", but a "frequently" would be "The Princess Bride" on DVD and "The Incredible Shrinking Man" (Matheson) in book form.
9/ If you were the boss of SFX magazine for a day, what would be your first command?
Quick! Process an immediate bonus for all title editors today! Funds to be transferred before close of business!
10/ Who'd win in a fight, a caveman or an astronaut?
Insufficient data. Are weapons allowed? Are they the same species (if not, what are their relative characteristics?)? Is it a particularly pathetic astronaut and a particularly strong caveman? There is so little information in this question it could run for parliament!
