Here are the answers from blogger Jonny Rose
1/ What first got you into SF?
Well I think as a kid in the '80s you get drawn in by things like Transformers and the like, though if I had to actually put a name to something I'd have to say Star Wars. Many, many hours of time were lost to the movies and the extended universe books.
2/ Who was your first geek crush?
Honestly I have no idea. There are a lot of attractive women in SF, but ultimately I've never been a 'celebrity crush' kind of person. I suppose if I absolutely had to pick one it would be Willow in Buffy.
3/ If you were a spaceship from a TV show or movie, which would you be (and why)?
There's an old episode of the X-Men cartoon featuring Apocalypse, who has a sentient spaceship that, in this episode at least, actively works to thwart his plan. Apocalypse at this point screams out 'Insolent Vessel!' which is such a powerfully awesome and funny quote, especially with the voice that he had in the cartoon, that the idea of tripping through the galaxy as one part of this double act appeals immensely.
4/ If SFX were to run a convention, which guest would you most like to meet there?
Well to be honest I generally go to conventions to ogle the girls in skin-tight and revealing costumes, but if I were to go for a guest it would probably be Garth Ennis.
5/ What's the most exciting thing to happen to you (SF wise) in 2009 so far?
There's been a lot, so I'll go with the most recent, and that's that Futurama has been renewed! In a close second is the news that they've started work on the next Fallout game.
6/ What feature would you most like us to add to this website?
A big list of ratings from highest to lowest to ensure that I'm actually keeping up with the required amount of sci-fi watching and reading.

7/ What SF character has most inspired you in your life?
Probably Chris Redfield, he's inspired me to prepare for the coming zombie apocalypse by plotting safe routes through town, and making sure I always keep a sharp-edged shovel by my bed.
8/ What's always your number one book or DVD recommendation to a friend?
Invariably I go with Terry Pratchett, because it's so good and accessible, failing that I normally pimp Preacher.
9/ If you were the boss of SFX magazine for a day, what would be your first command?
Wage war with Total Film!
10/ Who'd win in a fight, a caveman or an astronaut?
A caveman. Cavemen come armed with sharp sticks, clubs and flint knives. Astronauts come with dried food, oxygen and wacky suits. You've got to pick primitive technology for this one
