Too many The Force Awakens spoilers? Stop them with Star Wars Blocker

Hate all The Force Awakens spoilers? Who doesn't? Between internet fan theories and Mark Hamill's Twitter, it's looking less and less likely that any of us are going to make it to Star Wars 7 spoiler-free. But if you're still fighting the good fight, it just got a whole lot easier thanks to a new Google Chrome extension called the Star Wars Blocker, which (predictably) blocks all Star Wars: The Force Awakens spoilers.

Basically, you install and activate the extension and whenever you visit a page that has anything Star Wars-related on it, a fitting and amusing message will cover your screen warning you about the evil that potentially lurks beneath.

It's definitely effective, but the extension does tend to overreact and send warnings for pretty much anything Star Wars-y - even if you're just talking to a mate about which of the new figures you're thinking of buying. And obviously there's no sense in blocking all Star Wars-related content, because here at 12DOVE we're dedicated to being No1 for Star Wars, and you wouldn't want to not be able to use our lovely site now, would you...

Directed by JJ Abrams and starring John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac and Mark Hamill, Star Wars: The Force Awakens is released in the UK on December 17 and in the US on December 18.
