The latest Zombies trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops II reveals a new ‘Zombie Shield’, which looks like it’ll be just the thing for dealing with those awkward moments when you get bumrushed by a group of insatiable flesh munchers. See it in action:
As you undoubtedly observed, the Zombie Shield is constructed at a workbench, which suggests a weapons customization/crafting system of some sort will be introduced to Zombies mode. From this brief clip it’s impossible to tell how much creativity and diversity the workbench will offer players looking for new, ingenious ways to kill zombies.
The description blurb accompanying the video, which was posted on the Call of Duty YouTube page, offers the following insight:
“Collect the right pieces as you make your way through TRANZIT [Zombies mode map] and you might have a chance to put them to good use. Shotguns are classic, and rifles are powerful, but neither can compare with the cover offered by the ZOMBIE SHIELD!”
Call of Duty: Black Ops II is coming to PC, 360 and PS3 on 13 November. The Wii U version arrives 18 and 30 November in the US and UK respectively.
