Black Ops 3's Zombies Chronicles DLC will cost $30 for 8 remastered maps and bonus items
Playing old Call of Duty Zombies maps in gloriously high-res new detail will come with a premium price. An Activision press release confirmed some additional details about the Zombies Chronicles DLC coming to Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, including the eight featured stages and one price tag: $29.99.
Here are the maps getting the remaster treatment when Zombies Chronicles hits PS4 on May 16. You'll want to start playing ASAP to get in on the "8 Days of the Undead" event, which will offer special challenges, double XP, and other exclusive rewards.
- Call of Duty: World at War - Nacht der Untoten, Verruckt, and Shi No Numa
- Call of Duty: Black Ops - Kino Der Toten, Ascension, Shangri-la, Moon
- Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 - Origins
On top of improved visuals, you'll also be able to bring in new weapons from the Black Ops 3 Zombies campaign. So even if you know all the old Zombies levels like the back of a severed hand you can still try out some new strategies.
In case the $30 price still sounds a little steep for reworked old maps, you'll also get some other Black Ops 3 goodies out of the deal: 20 vials of Liquid Divinium, 2 new Whimsical GobbleGums, an exclusive Pack-A-Punch weapon camo, and (on PS4) a dynamic system theme. Activision hasn't announced when Zombies Chronicles will arrive on Xbox One and PC yet, but it will probably be about a month after it hits PS4 - so around the middle of June.
